Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority has participated in the stealing of, and subsequent cover-up of the stealing of, my Housing Choice Voucher—effectively my national right housing in The United States of America —making me illegally homeless and illegally ineligible to return to housing in America, while I am documented disabled by Chiari Malformation, in need of further surgical intervention for nineteen years of government maltreatment, neglect, abuse and discriminatory whistleblower retaliation of a vulnerable adult, victim of fraud, civic whistleblower and Internally Displaced Person (IDP) reporting medical insurance fraud inside the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) since 2003 which is directly responsible for blocking medical treatment for Chiari Malformation resulting in the forced poverty, by which I and two generations of dependents are being monitored, controlled, exploited and abused without cease—now preserving life in nature with no home for daring to escape Minnesota, for 1,089 days and counting, through three separate multi-national instances since February 28, 2019.
Today, I have filed a timely “Request for Informal Hearing, SNRHA-H0176” regarding my November 28, 2021, American Rescue Plan Act Emergency Housing Voucher admission application, which was submitted in front of me by Linda Martinez, Case Manager for Safe Nest Shelter, at Safe Nest Shelter during the EHV admissions meeting on the evening of November 28, 2021. The application was subsequently pulled from the SNRHA system without being processed, according to a report from Rae in Section 8 Admissions on January 24, 2022. Rae provided the name and telephone number of Nedea Furtada in EHV Admissions for investigation. Several voice messages were left for Furtada over the course of one month without a single response—a common theme I have discovered in Nevada services.
Both the illegal theft of my nineteen-year Housing Choice Voucher on February 28, 2019, during my port into Clark County, Las Vegas, Nevada, and SNRHA’s later fraudulent cover-up of that theft in relationship with Dakota County Community Development Agency were achieved in essentially the same way: break some rules; do not respond to the participant; deny the participant a hearing, claiming it is not the agency’s responsibility when it is; do not respond to the participant; cover up the theft; do not respond to the participant; and repeat the process endlessly to escape financial and judicial accountability to the victim for the initial illegal theft.
That initial theft was not without massive financial damages, permanent physical injuries requiring surgery, and permanent psychological damage resulting from the trauma of robbery, identity theft, beatings, witnessing deaths, sexual assault, repeated reported and prosecuted stalking, illness within transient shelters and hotels, and homelessness itself.
Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority has demonstrated complete divestment in establishing the reason for my port, choosing instead to ignore and narrate away the victim’s position. The reason for the port was corruption and retaliation connected to the former housing authority and its relationship to a $1 billion class-action lawsuit representing 5,000 Minnesota defendants against the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) concerning the very fraud in the Home and Community-Based Services Waiver that I had been reporting since 2007 and the maltreatment abuse I had to flee the state of Minnesota to escape and receive surgical intervention for in order to save my ability to walk.
In other words, this is an issue that is not going away anytime soon. The State of Minnesota has only begun its coming-out and correction of targeted social injustice. It therefore makes no sense for SNRHA to increase its record of wrongs by permanently prolonging the reinstatement of my original 2000 Housing Choice Voucher, which was stolen in 2019, or by repeatedly committing misconduct to delay the issuance of a new Housing Choice Voucher and Emergency Housing Voucher—apparently based on the demonstrated belief that one voice cannot win justice and one life does not matter.
I appear as one, but I represent all innocent victims of discrimination, including the sick, elderly, and single mothers.
I was fleeing bone-crushing, heinous adult maltreatment and abuse that the children I raised alone and I had been trying to endure for more than a decade, which was only getting worse within a political environment that was heating up. I was trying to stay out of trouble, repair my health, return to the workforce, and have some modicum of normal life, as any victim of maltreatment and abuse deserves.
I came seeking peace, and this is the terrible fight SNRHA has presented me with. I have been a full-time resident since 2020 despite the voucher theft. Is this even ethically something an organization established to assist in the preservation of life should be willing to stand behind?
I did, and still do, remain qualified to receive the Emergency Housing Voucher under the following circumstances outlined by the American Rescue Plan Act Emergency Housing Voucher:
- I was homeless.
- I was recently homeless.
- I have a high risk of housing instability.
- I was fleeing dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking.
- I was attempting to flee domestic violence and stalking.
As a direct consequence of what has occurred:
- I have missed housing court.
- I am separated from my personal belongings in the apartment, and they may be lost.
- I am separated from surgeons, physical therapy for previous surgeries, and medications.
- I was unable to work the annual event in February 2022 for which I had been vaccinated to work in 2021.
- I have been couch-hopping for four weeks, and I cannot create a safety plan that does not include the possibility of fatal harm without a safe, confidential place to reside.
If I were to take lives to protect myself, I would likely face criminal charges. This is where the reality of being systematically forced toward one of three outcomes—being institutionalized, incarcerated, or dead—becomes apparent.
The denial of justice subsequent to corruption within government institutions nationwide is not the result of reckless choices by irresponsible people. It is intentional, criminal conduct, on a multi-state, national level and the federal of The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. This is the true face of social injustice. These people are trying to kill me, hospitalize me—or cage me to hide what they have done! Not one law have I broken. Nowhere have I failed.
I am a black female whistleblower—DHS is embezzling billions of healthcare funding, they have crippled me for life, destroyed my body, destroyed my family, destroyed my children and blocked me from the right to rent housing or travel in the united states of America and no agency in the US or attorney for that matter will defend me as a whistleblower, just as they assisted in covering up DHS fraud for more than seventeen years now because I am black and female!
If this is the reality that even the hardest-working citizens and innocent children can be forced to face, then what is happening is targeted, organized retaliation for speaking about it. Is that justified?
